Welcome graphic

I have named my studio "Pooka Fairy" after my Granddaughter Kayleigh. From the moment she was born I knew there was a little fairy inside of her and she has continued to delight us as she grows. She is my inspiration and loves to sit at the table in my studio and 'create' with paper and crayons, staplers and tape. You never know what she will come up with. It is her innocence in creation that reminds me to listen to my inner child......and just create!

What's new at Pooka Fairy Studio?

November 29, 2008.  My little Pooka will be 10 tomorrow.  Where have the years went??? I've added my newest paintings to the new painting section.  Hope you like them!

October 27, 2008,  Another summer come and gone.  It was a busy one as I worked at Renaissance Festivals and Celtic Fests.  But I was also busy creating several new paintings.  My newest is Vixen.  She is a warrior garbed in red and black poised ready to fight.  And there's Calla Lillie.  She was inspired by my daughters ren faire persona.  Ambyre is a fairy inspired by the beautiful colors of autumn and is one in a series of monthly fairies that I hope to put in a calendar for 2010.  I had knee surgery a few weeks ago and have been laid up with nothing to do but sketch.  Keep checking back for my latest!  Enchanted Attic has closed so Choices in Richland is currently the only retail outlet that carries my merchandise.

May 31, 2008:  Wow!  2008 is almost half over already.  Ren faire season is in high speed and I am so busy!  I have uploaded my newest prints: Masquerade, Kleo &  BellCamp and I have added a few more events to the calendar.  I have removed all of my inventory from The Enchanted Attic for the summer. But don't worry, everything will be back in the fall.
